Can you run both the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Beta along with the actual final version you purchase? Can you over-install the new version? How long will the Beta last? Can you install the trial along with the Beta? These questions keep coming in to us here at PhotographyUNcapped.
Here is the info, the skinny, the steps you need to take before installing the version of Photoshop that you buy, download, or have shipped.
YOU MUST UNINSTALL THE BETA BEFORE INSTALLING THE ACTUAL SHIPPING OR TRIAL VERSIONS!
The Photoshop Beta is a separate version which will timeout, or deactivate, at the end of May. It must be uninstalled fully before installing the real Photoshop, either the full version, an upgrade, or even trial version.
Adobe recommends that you use the ‘application or program uninstaller’ in your system. DO NOT merely drag the icon, shortcut, or anything else into the trash or recycle bin. You MUST do an uninstall!
The directions are the same for any other full uninstall for your system, and the details can be found at the following link:

Having had many beta installs on many systems, we concur with the above advice.
Please, do yourself a favor and do a full uninstall first. Your system ( and significant other ;~) ) will appreciate it!
