SD Card Capacity Reaches 128Gb with the Lexar 128Gb Professional 133x SDXC Card

Lexar has announced its ‘Lexar Professional 128gb 133x SDXC card‘ which effectively doubles the capacity of SD cards.

If you shoot, say, RAW files with a file size of 13.4mb (16 Megapixel sensor), you can get a whopping 8400 estimated images on your card!

The 128GB Lexar 133x SDXC memory card is priced at US$699.99, and will be available in the first quarter of 2011, the company said in a statement. The Lexar 133x 64GB SDXC card is priced at $399.99.
