John Nack has posted a couple of ways to deal with Photoshop’s inherently limited Undo functions.

“What’s with Photoshop & multiple undos?”

It’s worth a read if you’ve ever had to go back several steps (and who hasn’t?)

I generally use the History Panel as my preference over learning yet another set of Keyboard Commands.
