New Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Extended performance improving plug-in available from Adobe. Optimize the saving time of large Adobe Photoshop CS5, CS5.1, Photoshop Extended CS5, and Photoshop Extended CS5.1 PSD’s and PSB’s.
From the Adobe support page;
The attached plug-in for Mac OS and registry keys for Windows allows you to save large PSD and PSB images without compression. The resulting size of your image is much larger. However, saving the file can be much faster, if you have a fast hard disk and enough disk space to hold the larger file size.
The attached plug-in for Mac OS and registry keys for Windows only works with the following versions of Photoshop:
- Photoshop CS5 (version 12.1 which comes with Creative Suite 5.5
- Photoshop CS5 (version 12.0.4 which comes with Creative Suite 5
The Mac OS version is DisallowFlateCompressionPSD.plugin
The Windows version is DisallowFlateCompressionRegKeys.zip
