Stunning and enigmatic macro photography using homemade dark field illumination techniques mixed with trans-illumination by Master Photographer and photographic artist, Ken Storch.

“Objects and Illumination” represents a small series of artful photo images using these lighting techniques.

Multiple close-up images are combined into fully detailed macro photos with full depth of field. Storch uses Focus Stacking technology to enhance the visual depth and complexity of these objects in print.

The subjects appear as ‘objets d’art’, art objects, worthy of attention and interpretation as any artworks. Luminous is an obvious description.

Check them out.

Some truly awesome shots! Would love to know what some of the items are.

Embarrassed to ask, but I’m a super beginner and I’m trying to figure out if there is an adapter/converter made that will allow my Nikon D5000 to fit a Wide Angle/Macro lens that has a 62mm male threaded end? All I know about this lens is that it’s dig. hi-def 0.45 wide angle with macro. Can you help, or point me in the right direction, please?
Thank you so much, in advance, for any light you can shine on this!

It sounds like you need an adapter ring to mount your 62mm add-on lens to your existing Nikon lens which has it’s own filter ring size.
      I hope that helps.
      Cheers.
