There is a vague sense now, that Apple is hoping to preempt Adobe’s impending (we assume) announcement of the release of their much expected Photoshop CS5, Creative Suites CS5, and the official release of Lightroom 3 which is still in public beta.
Update 21 February, 2010 – Early adopters of Aperture 3 are reporting mixed results.
Some are happy; others report having issues.
