Adobe has just announced their new Site License program for K-12 schools.
Johann Zimmern, Adobe’s WW Group Manager of K12 Education, posted on the Adobe Featured Blogs : Adobe Announces New Digital School Collection & Site Licensing Model
This announcement is the most recent update to the ADSC, Digital School Collection, including several Adobe applications:
- Adobe Photoshop Elements 10
- Adobe Premiere Elements 10
- Adobe Acrobat X Pro
This package is supported by tutorials, lesson plans, videos, all at the Adobe Education Exchange; onsite workshops for teachers, and online training. These kind of modern technology resources are always welcome by educators and districts. The availability of such cross-curricular media can help offset the costs of site licenses, by providing a readily usable package of lessons and support materials.
There is a new pricing model for K-12 schools in 50 or 100 unit packs. Cumulative Licensing Program or Transactional Licensing Program
The program is available for Windows, and Mac OS, of course.
Happy Teaching.
