Want to learn and use the new 3D features in Photoshop CS5 Extended? Here is the best way to dive in.

Photoshop 3D team members Zorana Gee and Pete Falco have written a thorough book covering the realm of 3D that Photoshop CS5 has been expanding into.

3D in Photoshop: The Ultimate Guide for Creative Professionals

Focal Press

  • ISBN-10: 0240813774
  • ISBN-13: 978-0240813776

This book is geared towards beginners with step-by-step instructions, and for experienced 3D pros, it tells you how to get up to speed on the latest CS5 possibilities.

For example: You can take normal 2D text and extrude it into 3D space.

You can also move between 2D and 3D to improve work-flow efficiency.

Please note: the 3D features are only in Photoshop CS5 Extended, not the Standard version.

Hi Ken, just take a look. Zorana and Pete with Monroy, Corey, Russel and Stephen. If Corey is there I think that this book is very good.(just my opinion).
